Sanders has had a huge impact on the democratic platform. He pushed Clinton farther to the left and now they're adopting a bunch of his positions. The DNC now has a bunch of Bernie supporters in their ranks. So it wasn't all for nothing, unlike what Trump has said about his own bid for the presidency if he loses.
