One reason has to do with Gerrymandering (sp?) I think a lot of locations in the US, gerrymandering is legal. If you've never looked it up, I suggest you do, you'll get a better explanation of what it is but the TL DR is that it's basically cheating and is illegal in most countries.

Man, I thought America was fucking batshit when you guys voted Dubya Bush in for a second term. BUSH AGAIN! Surely that's as fucked up as you guys can possibly be without the whole nation flipping into chaos, right? Seriously didn't think Trump was possible. Fuck you guys.
