Trojan

Post by corpse »

I have a friend with Windows 200o Pro, uipdated etc.

He is using free AVG updated and it shows a trojan in C.

Shows as C:\11.exe

and it says "trojan horse dropper.small.18.1

There is another one called 411.

I have deleteed them, moved them to the vault, cleaned them, etc. but upon reboot they come back. They wont go away.

Tried google and all I fouind was stuff that said it was a spyware thing

Will try that. Is the program "NoAdware" any good?

I use adaware and spybot, but when searching for solutions to this problem I have come across this program that claims to be able to remove it.

I have, yes.

Just wondering here because if you type 11.exe into google and search a bit it will show that this noadware will remove it as it clains it is a spy program

u need anti spywares installed on ur pc, its good to have 2 atleast, i got three and im damn secrured against virus/torjans/spywares

google spybot S&D and install it, and ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.com

these programs are not really big files, so i assume ur computer is fast and got good memory space.

AND always update them once every week.

read the entire thread next time, spanky.

also, you don't NEED "at least two" spyware programs if you're smart about browsing.
