I treat every stop sign like someone is going to run it, every intersection as if someone is going to turn without looking and when driving in traffic I follow at a safe distance and stay in my lane. There's a lot more you need to do while riding a bike to make sure you stay safe. Although anything can happen, you can't let fear keep you from riding.

Just because we don't have them doesn't mean we don't understand them.

Thanks...

I'm looking forward to doing some upgrades. Raising the handle bars, Blue tooth stereo, LED lights, detachable wind shield and single saddle bag.

New toy, lots to do.

I raised my bars almost 2 inches and it made a world of difference on my back. Also added a detachable windshield. Takes about 5 seconds to take it off or put it on. Definitely worth it if you like riding with or without. That Fatboy is a very good all around bike.

Looks like I'm going to have to raise them about 6" and that's going to mean all new cables. :disgust:

The windshield will be good for colder and rainy days or really long rides.

2015 FLSTFB103 with only 1100 miles on it. It has Vance and Hines exhaust, Stage 1 kit and Screaming Eagle intake installed by the previous owner.

This thing sounds beast.
Damnit, buy new, I need the money.

If I thought I would be riding a lot (10/20k per yr) I probably would have. But I might get 5k a year if I'm lucky. I also like the fact that the original owner took the initial $6k hit on this bike.

However, if you have any promotional or R&D products you need tested HMU. :D

Re: What is new in your little world?

Nothing 'new' but I am back on the weight loss treadmill :smirk: After a lower back complaint a couple of months before Christmas and then all those Christmas festivities read food/alcohol, I put on a few too many kilograms.

I started back at Weight Watchers (certainly works for me) just a week ago. This week I am have lost 4.5 kilos

Feels good.
