Wow!

Just finished my Lego marathon..
I posted earlier I got the Lego Porsche (42056) as a Christmas present. Well it was done some time ago and I have just finished the Lego Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055). What a build

I took my time, noted the hours, thoroughly enjoying all 15 over 4 days. Yes, some pieces were put in the wrong spot causing me to go back a couple of steps 2 or 3 times and there's always that inevitable hunt for that missing piece that eventually surfaces. The last missing piece wasn't essential and I was able to leave it out but when I finished I found it under the instruction booklet :smirk:

I'll take some photos tomorrow.

Added a Bluetooth speaker system and a swingarm bag. Pretty sweet.

Reminds me of the Vietnam special of Top Gear, where if their bike broke down, they'd have to ride the backup bike painted in stars and stripes and blaring "Born in the USA".

You should play some Springsteen. :olo:

I really don't care much for Springsteen. But I do think having some good tunes going in the background adds to the escape.

Good tunes makes driving and riding all the better. Unless you have a V8 or above in which case no tunes are acceptable for 30 odd miles :)

Going to see Goof as a radiologist is like going to the dentist who pulled out his own teeth because he didn't have cavities after all.

when geoff says "application to radiology" he means "application to radiology lab janitorial position"

i'm willing to concede it may be "radiology lab low-grade clerical position" though. the kind of job that will be automated in the next few years

come to think of it, geoff could be automated and no one would notice the difference...

Probably wouldn't be too hard to make a GoofBot to post here.

you won't do either of those things because no one becomes a doctor at 50 and because you're too poor to afford second properties

yea that mining this is sooooo sllllowww ey

first thing my son did was change the gearing somewhere by the battery box

he is always real good about not having tension in his builds, he took out that clutch there and it was no problem.

that models gears are pretty impresive when you think of how far the torque has to travel though the model
it is about time!

Just put a deposit down on a 36 foot RV for our Colorado trip in July...Going to Ruidoso, Taos, Alamosa, great sand dunes, Colorado springs, Buena Vista, Estes, steamboat, Glenwood, ouray, telluride, Mesa Verde, Durango..

Question... Should I take the million dollar highway from Ouray to Durango or am i a moron for even considering it?...
