That's a factor for anyone, isn't it? But I could buy a used Fireblade for $10K and go with that no problem, but I choose not to because it simply isn't the type of motorcycle I'm looking for.

If you don't understand the benefits of a CBR650F over a CBR1000RR Fireblade as a commute motorcycle then that's on you. And you can still let the CBR650F rip with more than enough power, certainly when you're limited to (Dutch) public roads.

Honda typically makes a superior product (quality wise) and people regret inferior purchases. Not too much to argue there really... Listen, I called this right out of the box. YOUR budget prohibits you from buying a larger bike. Nothing wrong with that. Though I'm sure if someone was handing out 650's and 1000's, you'd take a 1000. Oh, and you can stop arguing specific makes/models like it helps make your point. Because I don't give a shit what you ride. But I'm sure there are other lager makes/models that would suit your specific use.

I own a cbr and I'd probably take the street tripple if the price is similar. For commuting though eraser the 500r and 500f are phenomenal on fuel.

I am now on the phone to my internet service provider.
My VoIP phone doesn't ring in I/C calls like it used to and I have a real problem making them understand that there's a problem. They just seem so thick, dumb as dog shit we used to say and I am not racist. It is just that there's a communication barrier. I demonstrated the problem while on my mobile to the Call Centre TWICE, but they still tried themselves !!
