0 - 60 is pretty spot on the same even though the NISMO has 25 more HP. It weighs about 400 lbs more though. But yeah, on a track the NISMO is probably quicker. I have no intentions of ever bringing mine to a track though. Not that I wouldn't enjoy it, I just feel if I get this car I would want to keep it in pristine condition.

Additionally, like you said, a lot of the extras you get with the other packages are all things I could get in the aftermarket for a better price with probably better functionality. Also, I actually don't want 19" rims and tires, I want the 18's as it'll be a smoother ride. I just want a real sports car, one that's RWD, 6 speed manual and looks stunning and this fits the bill perfectly. Even matches my bike.

I visited my superannuation advisor today to discuss and ensure my future financial security. Short is that I am good :D

Life expectancy came up in the analysis - Have I enough to enjoy my chosen current lifestyle? The life expectancy statistics are, if I am 61 currently :) I have 23 years left on this planet  The good news is, 50% of the group will live longer and the other 50% die too early!

You have to love the art that is statistics..

Switching over to a new production at Leavesden Studios, which with our new house means I can now cycle to work for the first time in about seven years, so I bought a bicycle!

Gone for an all rounder, I can put bigger tires on this and use it on canal paths too. It's a Genesis Croix De Fer 20. I went for the 2016 model based almost entirely on me not liking the 2017 colour, not to mention I got it for nearly £400 less. Arrives next week:

Yeah I've already got the SKS P50 Chromoplastic mudguards picked out on recommendation from Genesis, I don't mind how they look either. Might get a luggage thing too. I'll use them all year round so I don't get mucky before work.

Tell me more about tyres, why do i need these Marathon Plus over stock? - which, after looking them up, are Kenda Flintridge Pros.

Yes it's going to be a challenge in the winter as it's going to be my daily driver but winters here aren't usually too crazy and I am getting winter tires for it. Also, I've heard rumors that this might be the last year I can buy one new as Nissan seems to be mum on producing any more Z cars. Seems like they might be replacing it with a model to be competitive with the BRZ style cars which I'm less interested in.

I have no doubt it'll be an adventure.
Great choice and good luck. I still have love for that car, I regretted getting rid of it for a long time. Winter driving sucked, I died a little inside when I got stuck and had to leave it during a blizzard. I heard blizzaks help, I opted to buy a cheap beater instead. So many great things can be done with the Z now can't wait to see what direction you go.

I saw some discussion about Nissmo below. I had the same thoughts about my car, keep it pristine and baby it, but that started ruining the fun. I still show it a few times weekly, and work hard to maintain it's beauty, but I daily drive it and also run it at the strip which is quite addicting. To be honest I've had more damage done to the car at a local cars and coffee than running it all night at the dragway. >:(

I'm on another trip at the moment. Started in San Diego and drove over to Joshua Tree, then through the Mojave Desert Preserve, over to Vegas. Going home tomorrow :(

By comparison, the CN Tower here in Toronto is only 1,815 feet and the Burj Khalifa is only 2,717 feet.
Our team raised $2,438 for cancer research. I just missed my goal but climbed 4,560 feet. We placed second overall, but only because the other team raised over $4,000 so they win on points. I won an Osprey 65L duffle, one of the event sponsors.
