Toronto...
So... I've just moved to Canada! Toronto actually... I've got 1 question, was hoping you guys would be best placed to advise....
Rogers (Cable) or Bell (ADSL.. but only have FTTE, no FTTP yet, so will cap out at 50meg)
In the UK I'd go with Cable but the Bell guy (ha!) told me that Rogers has contention issues? Rogers have said their line will burst to 150meg.

Also, welcome to the city. What neighborhood are you in?
Maybe it's time for a q3dub Toronto meet up...

Re: Toronto...
Thanks man, I'll have a read tonight. Is there any good sites which list deals/promotions? I got a bunch of things to buy.
I'm living downtown, though I'm in The Trump at the moment as I have no furniture until Tuesday. Got my work permit yesterday, so as officially Canadian as I can be for the next 4 years!

Re: Toronto...
That's just Bell BS. I would suggest Teksavvy, but their service has been pretty inconsistent. Plus they piggyback off Rogers so if you have any issues, you'll be at the bottom of the Rogers service queue and basically at their mercy. Internet in this country is a joke.
PS. Welcome fag, I'm about 10 minutes north of you.

And who are fellow Torontonians? PuffNStuff, Mazda and obsidian?
Re: Toronto...
I'd go with Bell... I've had service with Rogers and they made a 700$ mistake once, owned up to the mistake yet refused to take it off my bill. Years later, I wound up with them again as I needed ridiculous down payments for other phones, completed the contract and at the end when they owed me a 100$ deposit I'd given them they refused to give it back. Aside from their absolutely corrupt billing practices the service is pretty shoddy, friend of mine has Rogers and he's always lagging in Rocketleague even though he's paying for the same speeds I'm getting with bell. I'm not a huge Bell fan either but lets be realistic... you're either bell or rogers in Canada.

Dr. Xeno Julios and Dark Metal are also Toronto people. QuakeSteve quite possibly as well.

We have an oddly high Toronto representation on this forum.
