Bustacap is available

Post by Captaintoottoot »

Since Bustacap is new to the public and it has zero advertisement there won't be lots of people to play against so for now I'm guessing you'll pretty much only be able to play against bots or friends by connecting to their server. This is a beta version. It's pretty much bug free but it's unfinished. By buying this game you would not be supporting another big heartless corporation; you would be supporting a guy who has spent four years of all his free time to make this game while working crappy retail jobs just to get by and keep his dogs fed. $5.90 gets you in the door.

lol seremtan. Actually the cdc map was my old workplace... :)

And Doombrain, thanks for being such a nice person. You work on something for four years and then see how comments like yours feel like.

and the high school maps have a definite mass shooting simulator feel to them... :|

i'm sure this game would probably be fun for a bit, but the shortage of vertical gameplay means probably not for too long

seremtan, yeah the school maps are pretty flat but they are recreations of real schools so... you can climb onto the buildings though. But maps like cdc, docks, and some of the housing maps you can get 6 or so stories up on some of them. On the housing maps you can go into some of the houses or climb onto any of the the roofs.

doombrain omg. I'm not crying over what a troll like you thinks. I'm just tired of how self-entitled and spoiled gamers are nowadays. They produce nothing yet criticize everything. People who've never made anything themselves but will be the first to call what others make "shit." And you're comparing my game that I made by myself through a lot of hard work to like a game that's made by hundreds of professionals getting paid to work on it full time, and you expect them to be visually the same! ...lol I knew I couldn't compete with the modern Battlefield type games visually so I went for something different. I focused on gameplay instead of super realistic appearances, and other unique features like bullet ballistics. I've noticed that kids like this game way more than adults so... It's just not for you and that's all you've got to say if you had to say anything at all! But you didn't have to say anything because it's not like I forced you to download it and play it, and you didn't even try it. So I'm sorry I didn't make the perfect game for you, your highness. Next time I'll make a game that gets your seal of approval because doombrain, only your happiness and approval is all I care about!

Lt. Dan. Thanks for the support, even back when I tried to get some funds going on kickstarter to improve this game you were there. You're a cool guy.

Though I can appreciate the challenges and the sense of accomplishment making a game might provide. Why try to sell something like this? Given the competition you mentioned there can't be many people (outside of friends and family) that would be willing to pay for it. Your game seems like it's about 20+ years too late and something that would be free to D/L today.
