where's the console?

Hey.

My problem is quite simple: I can't find the console on my mac.

Is there anything special that should be done to pull it down? I have tried everything I could think of, including changing the toggleconsole-bind in q3config.cfg to a key that I know for certain where is.

On US layout it's the tilde key (~) on most other languages it's F13.

Hi.
I'm a Mac noob...
In fact I play Q3 on my Pc, but for holydays, i'm in my father's house.
He don't have Pc, but a beautiful macintosh G4 bi-750
Because i'm addicted to Q3, I'd downloaded the Q3 demo to play all day long :icon32: ....
(fucking classic environement.. always lagging.. fu**

1fps and

graphics...)
So I don't find the console ... the "tilde"
I've tryed F13 but it doesn't works :icon23:
please tell me that I'm just a noob, and not that there not any console on Mac demo.... PLEASE!!

Try setting the keyboard layout to "US English" and then see if the tilde (~) key works.

No need to play the Q3 demo in Classic on your dads mac - your pc cdkey is valid to use on mac as well - bring with you your original Q3A CD for the pak0.pk3 and just follow the illustrated guide in the Mac faq (scroll down for it) to get it up and running in OSX:
