The second one was the best of the ones I played. A truly outstanding game.

Finished Torment. The ending left me hollow. I don't mean that I don't agree with how the story plays out, just that the story takes some very incohesive twists and turns in the last hour or so.
The old "pick an ending" switch mechanic is also used making most if not all of the choices you made in the game irrelevant.
Still, fun gaming with an unconventional RPG ruleset.

Started on Final Fantasy 15. This game is both very much a Final Fantasy and very much not a Final Fantasy game,
Voice acting is terrible. So it holds up to that lineage

I played some PUBG last night and was reminded how bad someone can be if they don't play often.

But the 1.0 version of the game plays really well. The mechanics and interaction with in-game objects has definitely improved. However, the vaulting and climbing still needs a little work. All in all it's a nice game.

Modern Warfare Remaster

They got this game so right. Hope they remaster the second one so I can see which was the best out or the two again :D

Engine has definitely improved. I've gained 20+ FPS and been able to pop up some gfx settings.

I talk like a pirate, so Black Flag was undoubtedly my favourite.

Myself, I'm playing a lot of The Division recently, which is a pretty damn good third-person loot'n'shooter with incredible graphics.
Very seasonal too.

Wow, seriously? MW2 was nowhere near as good as MW1

Just finished Life is Strange. Awesome game. Now contemplating if I should bother with the prequel.

It's been a long time since I've played either, so I honestly can't remember

I would've been playing PUBG if I had the rig to run it. When I see livestreams I find myself thinking that graphically it looks like something my laptop should be able to deal with, but then I realise it's people with SLI 1080's running in low detail settings because otherwise the frame rate is too low

Nope. I run it at 1080p on a i7/1050 with most settings on high or ultra and pull 60fps.

Haha what?

Single 1080, 4790, Ultra in 1080p.

Its fine. No idea what scrub tier streamers you're watching. Pre upgrades I was playing with a 960 4gig. 1080 on ultra with shadows on medium and foliage on low. Was fine. Sounds like you need to just install it and not listen to shitty streamers?

Really though. This sounds a lot like the whiners who say VR is shit, or whatever, but dont own it. Steam has a refund policy brochief, play less than 2 hours, instant refund. Give it a shot.

Solo squads all day erry day! DROP SCHOOL SHOOT DUDES!

I've put some hours into Kona lately.

I don't remember hearing anything about it when it was released. Having really enjoyed Firewatch, Kona is significantly more interactive and enjoyable.

Wife and I are still playing Divinity Original Sin. We have a lot of fun with it. I’m hoping DOS2 is ported to Xbox so we can continue the story...

I don't know why but I stumbled upon an online slot machine game. We call them poker machines here. I started with only 200 credits. After 3 days of playing intermittently and I'd estimate for maybe 8 hours here's the result and just now

The number 8 is purported to be lucky in Chinese and other Asian cultures.
