Can say what Pie said in that vid was spot on, the NHS freeze has driven it to a point where its putting patients health at risk and this situation in the winter is a direct result of social care and an overflow in the winter pressure wards, basically trying to find a nursing home for people where there is none. The Torys are a pretty big shower of shite n all, that's not really an extreme left view either and I do agree extreme left is as bad as extreme right.

Disagree with this too, somewhat, but a lack of cash is a large part of the problem. I know a lot of hospitals in South Wales are struggling with staff numbers, relying on agency to fill in the blanks and this is a result of the privatisation at a higher cost (agency staff are on 3x the wage as normal) which sucks up money from other areas, all hospitals in Gwent have cut all operations (including ones for cancer treatment n such) due to picking up slack from the social care sector, using their wards for overflow and these operations may not resume til late Feb, the new wards that's opened n all have pretty much no equipment with low level nurses / doctors doing the jobs of bosses.

I've got two kids and the amount of letter we get through for different things from the NHS about really mundane things is unreal...

I've also used the NHS LOADS in the last few years and never had or seen any problems or excessive waiting times in two counties. I've only had to use my private health once for treatment the NHS does not offer.

Can't say much about your letters, or experience, I just had a mate wait 3 months to find out if something is cancer or not though. I've been put on and taken off the waiting list for a bankart legion 3 times now n all and given up with it.

The misses is a ward manager though, got another mate who's a nurse with cancer patients. The shit they're doing to get their patients treated is shocking. It's a case of being run to the wire and if something doesn't happen soon then shits gonna get fucked, like it is atm with the winter pressure.

I agree with you that Pie should be critical of both sides, there's plenty to bash Labour about but he's a comedian, it's like Jon Stewarts level of political critiscism. That, to me, doesn't mean what they're saying is wrong though.
