No way, I would never buy it on launch day for that price. I can wait 6 months for the price to drop to a reasonable amount. I have CoH to tide me over till then.

I wonder what would make them push the price that high. You would think that supply/demand would be better at 350-400.

Maybe they cant crank out enough PS3s to sell them for $300 so they bumped up the price to kill demand until full production gets running.
