I have little care for Moira. Same with Doomfist tbh.

The Resurrect change is a good start for Mercy, but she's still OP.

Moira definitely can't solo heal. I've only played a few matches as her, but I like her right click so far. It will take some time to get into the right rhythm to see if she's any good. I'm thinking that Moira and Zen on a team with a few tanks could put out a decent amount of damage.

New winter event started. There are some new nice winter themed skins and a new brawl that's a Yeti hunt where 5 Mei's try to kill a single Winston (as Yeti). Winston can eat 4 pieces of meat to trigger his ult. Mei's ult is basically replaced with Junkrat's steel trap. It's fun for a few rounds.

Just for a few rounds. There was a game that came out not too long ago with that basic mechanic, and it flopped despite being a fresh change for PvP. The name escapes me.

Evolve

Played Yeti Hunt twice to the achievements. Done with that.

Evolve failed because it was riddled with issues. And it was little more than a vehicle for outrageous DLC delivery.

This new PvE event is excellent.
Time for a story mode, Blizzard.

Blizz said a couple of days ago on Twitter that story mode is not gonna happen.

I prefer the Uprising event actually. It felt like it was a bit more dynamic. This one just feels like a long rush forward.
Still, it's a welcome change of pace from quick play or competitive.

Blizzard wrote:We believe in creating a better world, and as part of that mission we’ve teamed up with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation to release a special charity skin in Overwatch: PINK MERCY!

Available for purchase in-game and online through May 21, all sales of this limited-time legendary skin will benefit BCRF and their mission to end breast cancer.
As a Mercy main, this one's a no-brainer. :p

Apparently it's not cross-platform though, so if you unlock on PS4, you can't use it on PC.

The new Find A Grouo feature is awesome. Find and play with like-minded people with a few clicks.

The new hero though... Hammond the Hamster? Surely they are trolling.

It's the mech, though, not the Hamster?

So that charity skin raised $12.7 million, setting a record. Pretty impressive. I hope they do it again in the future, maybe an in-game ice bucket challenge for Mei or something.
