Tool for mirroring and rotating selections for CTF levels

Post by dONKEY »

I remember someone made a tool that could mirror and rotate maps to help create CTF levels. Radiant borks textures even with texture lock on, and obviously doesn’t handle models well. I could do manual rotations for everything and realign all the textures. But I was wondering if anyone remembered what the tool was called or where I could find it.
TIA.

I don't even know that something like that exists. I guess that sst13 does it all by hand, rotating the map to create symetrical CTF map, repairing all messed up textures, etc.

CZghost you guessed right! :D

The trick to align textures easily is to make the 0 0 0 coordinate the center of your ctf-map. Now you only have to turn your "texture shift" or "texture stretch" values into the negative value.

I set "Texture lock" by default off. Only turn it on when I really need it.

I’m resigned to the fact that there is no short cut to doing this....
