Rockstar Games has just announced Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming to PC. In a press release Rockstar confirmed that the game will finally arrive on the platform on November 5, and will be available via the Rockstar Games Launcher.

Much like the PC port of Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2 will arrive on PC with a host of “graphical and technical enhancements,” as well as a host of "new story mode content," including bounty hunting missions, gang hideouts, and weapons.

Players will also get access to Red Dead Online, as well as its new Bounty Hunter, Trader, and Collector Roles.

Pre-purchases for the game will begin at 16:00 BST on October 9, and will run until October 22. Those who pre-purchase during that time will also receive two free games from a choice of six; GTA III; Vice City; San Andreas; Bully: Scholarship Edition; LA Noire: The Complete Collection; and Max Payne 3: The Complete Collection. Pre-purchases also include a free upgrade to the game's premium edition, wile the Special and Ultimate editions will be discounted by around £16. Further bonuses include cash bonuses and gold bars for the story mode and Red Dead Online, as well as the Outlaw Survival Kit.

The game was so slow and boring. I don't play games to have conversations...I play to own... Next...

I may never play it on line or even finish the story mode, but I'm definitely going to pick it up. The game looks too good not to.

I never played the original two games and this one had so much hype that I got it on day one. I mean, it's Rockstar and I love GTA so what could go wrong? Well, I sold it after 10 hours. It was extremely slow and boring. Lots of system were vague and not well explained. I actually had to check online how certain things were supposed to work. Controls were iffy, combat wasn't very fluid and overall I just didn't have any fun. Yeah, it looks great, acting is superb and I love the writing but that's not enough to carry a whole game. Especially not one that takes what, like 70 hours or so to complete.

32gb RAM and a 2080 to get it going at it's best, apparently
