Quake 360 Arena (56-screen clustered CAVE)

Post by kloffy »

Happy 20th birthday, Q3A!

Image

To celebrate the occasion, here is a 360 video of Quake 3 Arena running on a 56-screen clustered CAVE. The recording doesn't quite do it justice, but in person the game looks amazing at this resolution (26,880 x 4,320). Apologize the poor aim on display, my Q3A skills have gone a bit rusty over the years.

Holy cow I'd love to see that in person.

Cool to show a larger audience, with prolonged play eyes may hurt :-)
