What seems to me is that you arent using the whole bridge, so you do not have enough speed to make te jump. So start all the right and hop to the very left. Well not hop but strafejump ofcourse.
Also, jump for the small ledge by the rail.
Here's my demo. failed first time too though

Is this something that can be enabled online?^misantropia^ wrote:pmove_msec 8
I thought it was 125, that is what I have it capped at currently...Peloquin wrote:other than not correct strafeing...looks like an fps thing to me. toward the end of the jump you slow down drastically and fall short.

You jump from first shadow, then when you land, itll be on the very edge, jump again.. start this all off with a circle jump . O_o
[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.
It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.
I am now sick.

I've found offline (skirmish mode or simply loading a map via console) trick jumping won't work or is a lot harder than online, unless I turn on pmove_fixed?
Online it's easy, but offline the physics seem different.
I used to think that jump was impossible to, but once you get it, you will start doing it like its second nature.

thats cause localhost (/map pro-q3dm6) is a listen server, online servers are dedicated.
you can play on your own with +set dedicated 1 in a shortcut. start the q3 console and just connect via ASE (for example).
this is what i use for osp:
D:\GAMES\q3a\quake3.exe +set fs_game osp +set dedicated 1 +exec 1v1.cfg +set net_port 27970
