In multiplayer games, sure, but the music in Doom adds so much to the experience

I know; I like the switch idea that they came up with in relation to turning back versions so you have version records.

Not everything that you don't like about id is automatically done by Bethesda.

Here's id's official statement on the matter.

Interesting read. Mick shouldn't have run his mouth off on twitter, be interesting to see if he responds to that post. As talented as he is, he hasn't maintained a decorum of professionality at all, and has rather overstepped the line.. It's sad they're parting ways though. Maybe Trent could get on board again...!?

I'd be down for Trent being there, though I'm not sure the music would have the same bite

I wish Trent had been working on DOOM from the start. I like Gordon's music in-game but it's not something I'd ever want to listen to outside of that—with the exception of 'Suspense' which is a remixed E01M05 anyways.

In the darkest time of his life and locked into a shitty record deal, Trent still fulfilled his obligations in order to get out of it. This Mick guy seems intolerable to work with.

Well, at least they're listening to the community.
They could make the software optional. If you don't install it, you can only play against other players that haven't installed it.

Am I right in thinking there's more Sentinel Batteries in the game than spots to use them? I think I've got everything unlocked and yet I still have 4 sentinel batteries.
