Yeah, my first big PC purchase as a kid was a Voodoo 2 card for Quake.

Yup, I remember having to boot the PC into the bios and let the video card warm up or it wouldn't work right if booted directly into windows.

First time I was amazed was when I first saw the first weapon pickup. I was like

it actually has a rear!
