Omegle? Reminds me of my old CB radio days in the early 1970's, yes before some of you were born :p

The bike is all cleaned up, prepped and ready to go for our trip to Virginia. A few friends and I are riding 950 miles from south Florida to a Shenandoah Valley resort where we will stay several days. Should be great weather and a great place to ride.

Wait you guys are allowed to cross state borders without having to quarantine? No wonder Covid is so out of control over there.

A rally like this is stupid, but the article mentions the numbers are based on anonymized cellphone data.
It's very unlikely the numbers actually reflect reality. There's no way 250,000 people get infected at an outdoor motorcycling event of 500,000 people..

I agree it’s impossible to know the numbers. But don’t they mean it’s “linked” to 250k people? Meaning they can (theoretically) be traced backed to the biker circlejerk. Not necessarily that half the people there contracted the virus...

it's almost as if the virus doesn't care why people are congregating and is just infecting them anyway

Yeah, don't mind all the looting and rioting. Covid doesn't go anywhere near there. :olo:

We're heading out tomorrow morning for Virginia... For all you Covid warriors, I've already checked the travel restrictions. As long as I have my covid-proof mask I'll be fine.

It should be a great ride around the mountains. I'll post some pics and video when I return.

See ya soon.

Me too :) as I'm off to a boutique sub tropical hideaway escape in the Gold Coast hinterland for a few nights, set back in the hills maybe an hour from the sands of the coast. Looking forward to the green and damp of the bush, cold nights and a log fire.

New car incoming - a Skoda VRS.

Honestly, I think Skoda make better cars than 95% of the market lol.

Edit: I've just spent around 3 months looking at new cars for around £37 - 42k and every time i looked at what you got and what the drive was like i always had the Skoda at the top. Even trying to be objective about it, the Skoda came top. I really wanted a new merc 220d estate AMG line but it was a pile of shit.

anyway, cool story, i'm buying a 2nd hand skoda and keeping the rest.

I wish not wearing a mask disqualified people from getting medical treatment. All the gwamps of the world would just drop dead, with their last breath cursing 5G and coronahoax.

Maz, you're going too far.
Don't wish that to anyone.
Give 'em a chance.
