What of the enduring long term effects? There was an item on our local TV and yes, you probably get the same stuff... These 'long term effects' would be a concern.

Which is not yet determined. Some affected people have re-occurring symptoms, as it seems. Long time studie means 10+ years though. We know nothing imo, but we have decades to study this "flue".
Another week passes & so quickly so I wonder the numbers.
On a local note, our local capital city had a 3 day lock-down and if you've been reading it correctly, this gives 'contact tracers' a chance to get ahead Otherwise quiet here..

We’re seeing the death results of a day of mixing at Xmas and the new mutation here in the UK. That strain is now in the US so hold tight for some rocketing numbers.

I actually don't think so. If you look at how quickly it spreads governments should have been on top of this weeks ago. They're estimating something like 500,000 deaths due to this virus... I'm not sure if that stat was worldwide or just the UK...
Edit: yeah that's just the UK. 2.2 million in the US. People thinking this isn't serious need to wake the fuck up.
So this is ageing nicely. originally posted March 17th 2020

Yesterday I stumbled across some photos/video of those morgue semitrailers and mass graves on some island northern US coast. Hart Island, that's it.... Something along the lines of this video.
