Protocol 68??

when i try to connect to some servers i get a message saying server uses protocol 68...

I searched in google and downloaded a patch for it...But after installing it i am not able to even start the game...it shows unexpected version 4...

Can anyone help???

You need the latest patch for the game.

Yes i Downloaded the latest patch...After installing it..When i start the game a console window appears and i get a error ::unexpected version 4 expected 3.

What should i do???

The point release wasn't installed properly most likely. Reinstall the 1.32 patch and then reboot.

Open the console ~ to check if you updated correctly... does it say pr 1.32?

After installing point release 1.32..when i am starting the game at the console window it shows

User Interface is version 4, expected 3

and the game exits...

right. uninstall, download from another location (the file you have now is possibly corrupt), and reinstall.
