They also don't explain:
* how Vader is taller than the Emperor in the first trilogy, but shorter in the second;
* how it is that Leia can have any memory of her mother (which she says she does in Return of the Jedi) when her mother died the moment she was born;
* how Vader comes to know Luke is his son when at the end of Sith he believes Padme (and hence her unborn children) is dead.

1) odd indeed

2) because leia was adopted, and simply doesnt know this untiull luke tells her hes his brother. her last name is organa, remember, not skywalker
3) theres a 20 year gap between sith and hope. surely the emperor tells him about his son.

"She died when I was very young."
Yeah - about 30 seconds young. The only person I ever heard say they could remember being born was Salvador Dali, and he was mad. Plus Luke was born first in the Sith, so he should actually 'remember' more of Padme - about 10 seconds more.
If only you knew the power of the Nerd Side!

aye but i think her foster mom died when she was young... its debatableGeebs wrote:I'm sure that leia knows she's adopted. Here we go, from ROTJ:
Luke: "Do you remember your mother? Your real mother?"
Leia: "Just a little bit; she died when I was very young"
There ya go, she knows; just doesn't know who her real father is.

As stated before, it's a movie. If you dont like it, okay, but You're still a cunt. But not for not liking it.
I already cleared that in a short telephoneinterview with GL, so my opinion is not only correct but also legit and cool. Thanks chunk for playing along.diego wrote:As you can see, Leia is being raised by Bail Organa and his wife. She does not know she is Anakins daughter. She is to be believed that her parents are the Organas. Hence her name Leia Organa. So, she remembers not her real mother but Bail Organas wife.
Gamepro can't even figure out the most simple of things.
Who's being bitter here? I liked the movie, and I said so. But thanks for clarifying that, for reasons unconnected with not liking the movie I actually liked, I am a cunt. Much appreciated :icon14:diego wrote:Dont be bitter.seremtan wrote:"She died when I was very young."

Yeah, the full facts won't be known until Lucas pulls them, fresh and steaming, out of his arselosCHUNK wrote:aye but i think her foster mom died when she was young... its debatableGeebs wrote:I'm sure that leia knows she's adopted. Here we go, from ROTJ:
