and how is it that it seems some members have their postcount and accounts merged without posting in the thread and going through the specified procedure, and those of us who have done it properly, haven't had anything done?

People who reregistered with their original names when this place was first back up got thier accounts merged when Turb did that mass merge awhile back. Its the people who hadent reregistered by then...and/or the ones that registered with a nick different from their old nick that had problems.

My nick was already in the database but the mail server was down and I had to get doomer to reset my password. Took me 2 weeks to get ahold of him.
