MSI: Winner, regardless of the board. K7N2 Delta2 isn't bad.

I don't know about the PSU, but I can say that I've never had problems with Western Digital drives.

The case shouldn't matter. Just keep it out of the way and quiet.

Going slightly off topic, how hard is SATA to set up in comparison to IDE, I'm thinking what kinda stuff do you have to do if you want to install a fresh copy of XP on a SATA drive?

Well Kazi and i have been working on his replacement parts for some time, I am pretty sure this si the drive he means to get. Western Digital Caviar 80GB SATA 8MB cache.
That drive is SATA and have an 8MB cache, both are g ood for performance and onmy 4 bucks more.

The only difference between SATA and IDE is most mobos don't have this IDE emulator for SATA so you have to use a floppy to get the drivers for the SATA drive. Other then that.
The emulator I speak of, not sure that is exactly what it is, but I know the ABit IC7-G doesn't require the drivers while other, most, mobos do
