I made the switch from sp1 to sp2 on xp and guess what, it starts bugging me from the start. Got most of it sorted out except this one. When a mate of mine sends me an audio file through msn messenger 7.0. security blocks it saying it could be 'potentially harmfull.
How to go about disabling this meddlesome program?

Start > Run... > services.msc >Windows Security Center or something like that and disable it.

weird .. unexpected behaviour from a supposed firewall acting more like an anti-virus program.
maybe in conjunction with MS anti-spyware you are getting this error?

Do you have the Virus Protection in that window (Windows Security Center) enabled?
