i like it cuz people never expect a wagon to kick their ass.
If you like wagons that kick serious ass read this. It is an article on the new Mercedes E55 AMG Wagon
Nah. Get an Audi RS6 Avant Plus. It's faster, more powerful, drives better, looks better, is cheaper (I think), has better build quality, and you don't have to punch yourself in the face for being a tool and driving a Merc. :icon32:

That's pretty nice but I don't like the wheels.
i think the grille is worse
Eh, I like billet style grilles. The wheels look more like they belong on a riced out Cavalier than a decent luxury car though.

Audis are nice and the RS6 looks to be powerful, but Mercedes has awesome performance and the build quality is by no means poor. Why would you want to punch yourself for driving a Benz, I drive one and it drives veryu nice

Don't get me wrong: the E55 has respectable specs, but it's still a big cushy Mercedes. Audi can make performance cars, but Mercedes never seem to get past the luxury bit of it. Handling is better in the RS6 (at least from what I've read) and I'd prefer to have the Quattro anyway, particularly if I was buying a wagon. And, like I said, it has better performance than the E55. It's not to say I wouldn't like one, but if I was shelling out that kind of money, I'd go for the RS6. I prefer the discreet look of Audis (I think Mercs are abominable looking, but that's just my opinion :) ), and as for the build quality, Mercedes has fared quite poorly in recent years; check out some consumer reprorts and such. I don't know if AMGs tend to be better, though...
What it comes down to, though, is nitpicking of two spectacular cars. I just happen to think the Audi is better. And I'm biased, of course... :icon26:

Well I have seen the consumer reports. I do recall the early M class and their issues, but my dad owns a 2002 ML500 and it is great quality. I also know some of the new sedans have issues with the software and that is mostly recalled and fixed, but most owners I know and mechanics that I talk to still to this day say Mercedes are extrememly reliable cars. I've also sat in and heard the roar of the S65 AMG and that car is an awesome peice of machinary.

As you can see by the car I drive I am also biased. I do like the Audi quattros espesically living in the mountains.

I have enough issues dealing with getting rid of my 350Z for this car, but I did it to save cash for a house and start planning for my offspring ;). Which I have acomplished, when all is said and done I am saving over $250 - $300 per month by driving this car. The sad part is in the few months I have had this car more people have stopped me to ask questions about it and look at it then they did in the few years I had the 350Z... :dork:

I find myself past the point of "Hey Look at me and my car coming down the road" I feel the same way about the rims, not really my style, but fuckit, why pay a few G's for 18" rims and a good set of tires to impress people on the outside of the car? When I did that with my impala I wasted so much money replacing the tires due to potholes, just to impress someone driving by...

Now I'm not bashing anyone who's hobby is hooking up their car, I really enjoy checking out car shows and all the hard work people do to make their cars outstandin works of art. I don't have the time, creativity or the deep pockets it take to make an amazing car, so IMO why waste my time to make something sub-par.

I spent a few bucks tinting it and beefing up the radio, with the Omnifi 20gig MP3 system. The interior is soft leather, temperature controlled and roomy, that's the part I get to enjoy everyone on the outside can enjoy my not so cool rims, because I really don't want to wast the cash to impress them ;)

I like the exterior of my car otherwise, including the grille :icon14: I just got back from driving to Maryland in the car and it was a nice comfortable trip I spent about 15 hours in the car this weekend and it's really starting to grow on me.

There's a guy around town I know that has two or three of them. They were built in the area around here I beleive. They're neat cars if they weren't so high.

Lol, big fucking deal, it's a nice car and it's just had a couple of grand spent fixing it up.
