I love the brick xbox pad myself. Feels fantastic. The gamecube one is nice, but for nintendo style games. Not for first person games at all. And the PS2 pad is only good for 2d side scrolling stuff due to the way its shaped (like an old snes pad). The thumb sticks are near useless on a PS2, way to loose and in the wrong place.

I liked the N64 Controller, cept for its cheap plastic buttons

I don't see the one I figure is the most used one for Commodore 64 and Amiga. Two round buttons and a stick in the other end. Very popular and very good.

I like the gamecube controller. Might not be the best for FPS games but I manage quite well with it
The original XBox controller sucks bigtime, but the S is a lot better. PS2 controller is good IMO. It's design is good, button layout is decent but it feels like you could easily snap it in two for some reason. I get that sensation from the console itself as well.

s controller is a bit off for me. makes my left hand cramp up after a while. no idea why, since its roughly the same size as a ps2 controller
cube controller is too small and too arcane to play anything with cept for GC exclusives
