More server probs

hi, as a first poster this is my first problem, its been a long time since ive been back online to play some quake3 which i have missed for quite sometime!

My problem is that i have gone to the liberty of d/l ing game server progs. like all seeing eye and gamespy ... i follow the instructions perfectly and i have attempted to connect to many of ANY server ... i sit and wait as it says " awaiting connection " then the timer goes up ... and up ... and up ... etc. it just wont connect to any of the games being played, ive tried empty servers, medium traffic servers, to full servers, nothing will work ... was just wondering if there is something obviously wrong here and how do i go about fixing the problem ..

currently downloading the latest patches etc. for the game to see if it helps

Please remove your ip it is not necessary and only exposes you.

Once you have installed the patches try again. I also suggest installing OSP.

can i get some more info on OSP ? and where to get it ?

OSP is one of the most used mods for quake around.

Make sure you patch it up to 1.03a.
