I always wanted to get a pin-ball machine or an old stand-up arcade game.

If you don't mind, how much did you pay for your machine and do you have to get it serviced alot?
i havent paid for it, my dad did once a long long time ago (before i was born :o ). its a 1972 Bally FireBall ( http://www.ipdb.org/search.pl?any=fireb ... =quick#852 ). Last time I checked it was worth about 3K .. this was like 6 or 7 years ago though.

it needs to get serviced at the moment (left flipper wont move.. button works though) but its a bitch finding a pinballrepairguy who doesnt only do eletronic pinballs. everytime i call some repairshop theyll say something like
"yea just unhook the board and send it to us and youll have it back within a week".
sorry sir.. you didnt hear me correctly.. its from 1972 - its all mechanical.
"yea yea i know just send us the parts and bla".
uhm ok. are you going to pay for the shipping costs for 600 pounds worth of metal parts?
"..."

but other than that nothing has ever been wrong with it. fine piece of craftmanship, that. when a bulb pops you can easily replace it with a small bicycle-light :icon14:
