CTF
CTF
Been playing this Quake for a while now and just recently (by accident) played a game of CTF...and think I'm hooked now. It's a good change from what I'm used to about q3 but was just wondering if some of you would like to get together a game sometime soon. When I played it wasn't very organized and everyone was just running around, grabbing the flag, drop the flag, repeat...
I know many of you are in to CTF so thought I would give it a try.

Nice, I know piddla plays some form of CTF so maybe he can join as well... few more people and we'll have a decent little game going.
I'll start working on a cfg for the server we have at work, or looking for one anyway. Any of you have a working one handy?
Survivor - ha, pings will change soon then. :icon34:

Here's the stock CTF cfg, which seemed to work quite well the last time I hosted an OSPCTF server:
set g_motd ""
set server_motdfile "none"
set server_ospauth 1
set sv_hostname "OSP Tourney DM/CA/CTF"
set sv_allowdownload 1
set sv_floodprotect 0
set sv_maxclients 14
set sv_pure 1
// Uncomment this for maximum performance on dedicated server
set bot_enable 0
// rcon/Referee password
set rconPassword ""
set ref_password "none"
// Mode config settings
// -- Start on g_gametype 4 (CTF)
set g_gametype 4
set mode_start 4
// Map settings
set map_file "cfg-maps/ctfmaps.txt"
map ospctf1
Well, try comming to ap the longue osp sometimes, on the off days that the server is full in the evening (15+ players), a vote for ctf can usually be had or at times tdm (both are fun imo). When the usuall bunch of good people show up and we seem to even the teams the scores are pretty tight. Last week I remember we had a 1-0 game (after me and another guy played d all the way through)... fun times.
