New Balance for running, or just all-purpose tennis shoes.
Got a pair of Johnston and Murphy brown leather dress shoes I love.
A pair of mules made by Simple for around the house shoes.
A pair of Kenneth Cole black and cream italian leather for kicking around town.
And a pair of Wolverine waterproof workboots for working outside and camping.
Gap flip flops.

Currently, I'm wearing these, which I like because they have firm arch support, are narrow, and lightweight.

I also wear track running shoes (sprinter style) because for some of the same reasons.
I have some nice dress shoes that cost me about $200, a hybrid of a dress shoe with nike air in the heel, but they aren't as comfortable as my 50 dollar nike's or the 20 dollar track shoes I found on clearance.
As a teacher, comfortable shoes are key. If my feet hurt, my 5th and 6th period classes usually have a bad day.

Anyone remember that Shady Milkman bullshit Nike tried to pull a few years ago? Only idiots bought those.
My shoe selection is slim to say the least. I wear size 16 EEE, and I don't buy leather products.
Maybe I should go barefoot, and when I step in a store and get bitched at by an employee I'll just say I'm a hare krishna.

i wear nikes
i hardly have any choice in what pair though, since i got a huge shoesize. so instead of picking one out i like and asking the guy for it in my size, i have to ask the guy what kind he has in my size and pick one out of those 3
i always pick the ones with the most black and the least whizzbang
why do they think that if you have a foot like a ballplayer you want lights, orange laces and holographic nikelogos?
