anyways you guys with 64, 128mb cards might wanna check them out.
Performance Improvements
Enhancements to our driver's internal memory management bring significant benefits to 64MB and 128MB framebuffer configurations in Catalyst™ 5.7.

The resulting performance gains are most apparent in high resolution, everything on modes, when running applications that use a significant amount of graphics memory. Examples include:

5-15% gains in 3DMark05 on some products
20-60% gain in Far Cry Regulator across multiple settings
25-60% gains in Half-Life 2 at 1600x1200 4xAA 8xAF
40-60% gains in UT2004 at 1600x1200 6xAA 16xAF
50-100% improvement in Comanche4 at 1600x1200 6xAA 16xAF
50-200% gains in certain ShaderMark tests at high resolution

Yeah the 'bf2 display corruption' is listed in the known issues... I thought they would have been fixed in this release.

Aw for god's sake!!
I just set my PC back up perfectly after a format with the 5.6's.

Damn you ATI!!

Kudos for the heads up though, my x800 will be pleased >:E

Yeah, there's really no improvement unless you do run at undoable resolutions on 64 &128mb cards. They're talking about like 12fps instead of 8fps playing DooM 3 at 1600x1200 with 4xAA & 8xAF.

Sure, it's a big gain, but it's still at an unplayable resolution. My scores don't change on 1024x768 or 1280x1024 without AA/AF.
