its too dark!!!!!!!!!!

ok im playing the demo till my full game arrives from ebay..heres my question i was playing the game fine till i decided to change some settings. i went and changed the sound quality to good and the game went off and back on. But then when it came back its verry dark ive adjusted the brightness nothing ive put the settings back nothing ive uninstalled and reinstalled and again nothing..any ideas?

What game? whats you specs? Have you rebooted?

ok the quake 3 demo i did reboot and my specs are
amd 64 3400+

ati radeon 9600xt

1 gig ram

not sure if this command is for the demo but try it ..edit q3config.cfg ..find this key and edit it

seta r_ignorehwgamma "0"

make it 1 or 0 ..probably 0

Program files, open your q3config with notepad and edit it that way.

In game, go to Setup, game options, simple items. Set to 'off'.
