Well Since I got my iPod I have beeing using Sony's MDR-EX71. Their sound quality is good, but their build quality sucks. I am currently on my third pair, thanks to newegg and their RMA service. My first pair someone stepped on them and broke a bud, not Sony's fault. Second pair the metal peice that seperates the main line into the left and right eat buds broke. Third pair, one I am currently on, the pastic around the wire for the right ear bud is coming off and exposing wire. Now I might be able to RMA for another pair, but I am getting sick of the build quality of these headphones. I need something small, that can easily fit into a pocket. Preferably something that does not let other people hear what you are listening to. Anyone got some suggestions for me?
Thanks in advance.

Kills On Site,
I use EX71's wth my ipod and haven't had a problem with them, though, I can see that their build quality ain't that great. Try shure E2's or E3's if you can afford them. Both are far more neutral without the 'sweetness' and added bass of the EX71's. They have more middle. Think of them as flat monitors, like the yamaha NS10 speakers that are used in studios. They do sound great though, I tried a pair of E2s. They are more solidly built, and in fact, I use the shure's transparent rubber sleeves on my EX71's because they give a much better and tighter fit in the ear.
