Read some of the replys.. seems to be the kids dad works at MS and brought it home.. the wires out of the top are for hooking up to test equipment..

Theres a post that the kid made over at gamespot, evidently he didnt know about the NDA or w/e and could be getting his step dad into some trouble..

patches for all the compatible games will be pre-installed on the harddrive. so you can just pop whatever game in and it should work.
