if you can't tell the difference from one sentence to the next without capitilized words and/or this annoys you... you should really get hooked on phonics. however, if you can tell the difference, you can read it understandably and whatnot... who cares on the internet then?

Capitalization used to bug me years ago, but as soon as I realized it wasn't a passing phase, I got over it. What DOES bug me is punctuation (or lack thereof) and commonly misspelled words. If people actually bothered to stay awake during 8th grade English, maybe it would be as common sense to them as it is to me.

It took me much too long to realize that. :icon26:Dave wrote:not really, but now that i'm writing formally quite a bit, i'm more conscious of it. i dont think internet message boards are the place for grammar unless you're trying to make a serious argument or something in a political or intellectual thread

there's an old guy i have to work with sometimes who bitches about my emails being all lower-case - but despite his own ability to hold down the shift key at regular intervals, his written communication skills are so fucking terrible that he often leads me to use all caps. old people, grammar, arse.
as long you can get your point across without it being really obvious which years of school you missed or what personality disorders you have, then it's all good.

Oh the irony.
The other 13% is just pure faggot shit.
To be honest I can care less if people use them or not. I use them to stay in practice. If I didn't use them then I'd feel to much like I geoff with his "f u i c u p hahaha" kinda crap.
Notice that I didn't cap his name. He's not worthy of a upper G.

People who do not capitalize their name should not be talking about this now should they. it's quite hypocritical.

Now there's something that bugs me. It's "I can't care less". :icon26:Pooinyourmouth_needmerge wrote:mjrpes wrote:87% of my thread post is jest.Pooinyourmouth_needmerge wrote:This thread is from a guy that didn't even use capitalization in his username.
