USB 2.0?

Post by Eraser »

Whenever I plug an USB2.0 device into one of my USB ports I get the message that the device would be faster if you put it in an USB 2.0 port.

I'm 100% sure my motherboard supports USB 2.0, so why do I get this message? Do I need to install drivers for it or something?

[size=75][i]I once had a glass of milk.

It curdled, and then I couldn't drink it. So I mixed it with some water, and it was alright again.

I am now sick.

It's not. If it's running in USB 1.x mode then it's slow as hell.

Some times only a few ports of the USB are actually 2.0 ports.

read in your manual and it will be listed. on my old mobo only the Two ports that where on a USB header that took up a PSI slot was 2.0.
