No man, it's just like that. The SMTP server needs some anger management training or something.

:D

Okk cool. I didn't think you had forgotten, just got lost somewhere along the back 40 or something. :)
Check out the forum now though, I made some changes to it.

Same thing with the SMTP server, it's been holding onto all those e-mails and now it's releasing it's full fury. Looks like our SMTP server has mood swings.

:)

When I saw all those emails, at first I thought some idiot spread another email virus... but then it turned out they all came from LEM ;).

To me the only pain was checking all the notifications to make sure none were actually new.

Anyway good that email notification works again.

I post in A LOT of threads. :icon32: Unfortunately I didn't anticipate the fixing of the SMTP problem and didn't turn off email notification. It's turned off now though. :icon26:
which begs the question: why did you have it on in the first place?

It must be on by default. When the site came back up I never touched my profile settings. I would have turned it off right away had it been working because I would have seen e-mails coming in notifying me that people have responded to my posts. I hate that. But in this case they got all backed up.

Well hello guys. Welcome back. Mome, long time no talk. How are things? Make sure you uncheck notify by e-mail for this thread, and make sure it's unchecked in your preferences. A few of us got totally bombed. :D
