He used to idle in irc.enterthegame.com/#q3map and irc.qeradiant.com/#qeradiant (only occasionally in the latter, I think). Don't know if this is still the case.

He did mention that he was going to take his new touring bike out on a trip around the coast around Japan. Not sure when/how long ago that was.

Otherwise, he should be pretty busy with work.
