All they could charge him with were the 2 ounces of cocaine and 18 pills of xtc. They dropped the steroids charge, weed, most of the xtc pills because some were blue and others were pink and they only tested the blue ones, the 9mm was dropped because they didn't have a search warrant for the car because it wasn't his.

So my buddy finaly got sentenced today at court. The one that got caught in my car with 2 ounces of cocaine, 89 pills of xtc, steroids, weed and a 9mm handgun. I'd say he did good.

Well the car belonged to me and the gun was wiped clean as far as I'm aware. So he was ratted out by a weasel so they had a warrant for his arrest and they had watched him sell to a few people before making the arrest. The car however did not belong to him and they were unaware of that when they searched it. They probably did know but chose to ignore it. So when it came time for the gun since it was in a hidden compartment in the car they didn't have the right to search it since their warrant only covered my friend not the car since it didn't belong to him. They can't charge me with it either since again they couldn't search it in the first place. So a little legal technicality worked out great. Definitely worth a car in the pound for a couple months.netrex wrote:So the dropped the gun because of no warrent to search the car and it wasn't his. Why doesn't this apply to all the other stuff? It depends on who owns the car. If it's the driver maybe, definitely i they have a warrant but if it's not their car I guess they can't.

well, when you say "hidden compartment", it sure sounds like a custom job to me, which is exactly how you wanted it to come out as. :netthugpersona:Kracus wrote:No all Tiburons come with a compartment in the back. Yeah well if you saw it you would understand why I said it. I've never seen a compartment in any other car that was like that one. All other cars have spots to put stuff in but not like this. This is like in the rear right hand side quarter panel and it's molded right into the inner wall. There's a little nob you can turn to open it that's fitted right into the wall, nice and out of the way and out of sight. I've never seen this in any other car and it comes like that stock. So yeah it's hidden. Either way you're just being anal.
