Those are SUPERBLOATWARE.

Get Y'z Dock for the dock. It behaves exactly like the Mac OSX dock. In fact, Apple put a C&D on the guy who made Y'z Dock.

Then download the UXTheme Patcher. This allows you to select custom Windows themes right in display properties.

If you listen to nothing else rep says (which, imo, is a good idea), listen to that. For once, he's right.

No rep, I am not going to respond to you again.

Y'z is looking good, except for the fact that I can't figure out how to add my own icons. It'll only let me add a trash bin, a clock or a cpu monitor.

Right click the icon, select properties.

Good luck on finding quality png icons that are at least 128x128. You'll have to make a lot.

I can't find one for Painter IX, or FL Studio 5 so it's 'Shop'n time.

It's only giving me the properties for that specific docklet item, won't even let me edit the link. I just want to add a firefox icon, along with outlook and a few others

yes

that firefox icon is truly crappy, especially when you compare it to the default FF icon which looks pretty sweet IMO.

i guess on the whole they dont look terrible. the AIM icon can lose the little text blurb.

lol You know you don't get out much when you criticize people for the kind of icons they use on their desktop.

right, because it takes 20 hours a day to look at an icon and say if you like it or not.

i would actually understand if you downloaded a program to make the icon look better than the default icon, but thats not the case here.

anyway, it doesnt make any difference to me. you should use whatever you like, but your statement of getting out much makes no logical sense.

I'm just saying, when you get right down to it, why waste the finger strength to type a message about how crappy an icon someone else actually does like is. Then again, I just waisted finger strength typing this message to attempt to clarifly the reason I made a post making fun of mostly Rep.

oh

i find the finger strength required to make a post is marginal and insignificant. anyway, i didnt find reps comment to be that harsh. he was just giving his opinion, and not in a horrible manner at that.

well, whatever, carry on :icon14:

you find the time to take a lousy picture of you aiming a plastic gun at a camera, uploading the pic to your pc, hosting it on a web server, making a THREAD about it, and WASTING FINGER STRENGTH WITH YOUR INITIAL POST.

I go outside frequently; to have a smoke, to put gas in my car, to buy smokes and to goto work, also occasionally I might go visit someone.
