will they put a delay in the footage in case something happens, like they do in police chases and whatnot you think?

Man...SIR
Look in your other thread...
That was almost what I was talking about 2 minutes before that had me confused with the film.

No but I just thought that it was like when you are coming back from work...As the astronauts are coming back...
On the way back home the cell ring and your gf is asking you to get some milk at the depanneur...So Nasa would as well tell them to get a look at the comet on their way home...
It is as simple as that.

I'm going to try to stay up, they're going to cover it live on one of our local news channels. I'll need toothpicks to keep my eyelids open tomorrow, though.

(i originally posted this in wrong thread)

talking about shuttle disasters, this is well worth a read:

http://www.chrisvalentines.com/sts107/perception.html

and the video:

http://www.chrisvalentines.com/movies/rtr.wmv

excellent presentation of information (both in the writing and the video) - in fact it's some of the clearest writing i've ever read in my life. The video is incredible also.

However, I'm not sure whether his theory holds up - perception is quite malleable.
