screenshots

For some reason screenshots no longer work for me, I checked my config file, and it says

bind F11 "screenshot \"
bind F12 "screenshotjpeg \"

which is pretty normal hey??
I can record demos - but just dont get a screenie anymore - I dont recall changing anything to make that happen - can anyone help please.

are you using osp>? try autoaction. takes a shot after each match, among other things

this is from the osp client readme:

cg_autoAction <option_bitmask> (default = 0)
      Automatically performs actions at certain points in the game.

       <option_bitmask>:
             1 - Automatically save stats to a local text
                 file at the end of a match. Logs will be
                 stored in:

                   <osp_root>/stats/<date>/<logname>.txt

             2 - Automatically takes an end-level screenshot
             4 - Automatically records a match (requires
                 a full warmup server - g_warmup = 0)
             8 - Dump your team's weapon stats
            16 - Dump all players' weapon stats

also, whats the "\" for? does that create a seperate dir for jpegs in your screenshots folder? i would try removing that otherwise.

works fine for me, do you still have a "screenshots" file in your baseq3 folder?

You can find your screenshots in the screenshots folder "Quake III Arena\baseq3\screenshots", if you can't your screenshot you may have to look in the corresponding mod folder, for example if you take a screenshot under RA3, you will find your screenshot in "Quake III Arena\arena\screenshots".

hey thanks, I did not realise the forward slash on teh end should not be there - whats weird, is that I did not manually add it.

My screenshots folders are in the correct locations, will remove that forward slash and see what happens.
