I try to play multiplayer to play online but no one is ever on. I think its messing up can anyone help me?

i tried that thing u told me to use the /connect 64.37.227.31 and it just locked up and this is the 3rd time ive had to reboot my computer and it sucks ass because quake 3 is supposed to be alot better online than singal player.

we need a bit more info than this, sir.

when you click multiplayer, make sure it's set to Internet and not Local Area Network - thats where a lot of people go wrong, see

also, do you have the latest patch? 1.32

how does it lock up? does it simply take a while before something happens or do you get a blue screen or what ?

This is to MKJ first of all when i clik to go to the internet it says it but it locks up and i have to reboot my computer, second of all i dont know how to tell what patch i have???? If u tell me i will go look.

And managment i dont fully understand what spamming is all i know is its garbage other ppl dont want if u tell me how to stop i will gladly stop spamming until then i dont know how to stop plz tell me im new to this site and i dont want to get band.

if you pull down the console by pressing ~ you will see the version number on the right side of the pane
