Knoppix Quaker SOS

Whats happening people this is my first post. I am having some problems with quake and my video card. I have gotten Quake to work before using knoppix before on a different comuter (some dell) with no problem what so ever. Its having major problems with the emachine. Any suggestions would be nice? :icon27:

What exactly is going wrong? First of all, have you downloaded the 1.32b-3 patch?

Why would you play any game more complicated than solitaire on a CD-based OS?!

iirc you can install knoppix but it has absolutely no benefit.

Install a real OS.

Ubuntu linux is great, with both livecd and installable options (and it will run better than knoppix)
