the fact that someone like bill o'reilly (who to be fair i've only heard quoted and seen some snippets) can exist in mainstream US media speaks volumes about the difference between the US and UK, and why the iraq war was such a hard sell for Tony. O'Reilly wouldn't last five minutes over here, especially if he laid into the mother of a dead soldier. he'd be fucking crucified and consigned to the outer void of oblivion

Hilarious....Sheehan is finally getting some press ....so what does CNN do to "remind everyone of why we're at war"? Why...they run another "9/11 Stories" pile of tear jerker bullshit to help you remember that Saddam was evil and was responsible for 9/11 and he killed baby Jesus.

I found this...from a website stating it's mission statement of "Tracking Liberal Media Bias Since 1996"....but then this "bias aware" site calls her a "Bush Hater"...lol...you can't make up funnier stuff than this.

The broadcast networks and CNN on Monday morning trumpeted the vigil outside of President Bush's Texas ranch by a virulent Bush-hater, but didn't really fully convey her hatred.

It's just so funny watching Americans shit all over each other. Liberal vs Conservative. Left vs Right. Christian vs everyone else. North vs South. Plastic vs Paper.

Fuckin hell...the US might rip itself apart before any terrorists do. Someone says something bad about Bush? He must be a Bush Hater and wants to take away your guns and let the communists run the country!

The most important thing Cindy Sheehan's group could do is stop buying and driving their fucking SUVs which they no doubt will refuse to do. those who like to make the "its all about the oil" arguement rarely go all the way to the vehicle in their driveway thats guzzling.

Yea, that's a bit hypocritical, but a lot of people don't even notice the connection - usually because they don't want to.

It's funny how the most louldy self-proclaimed 'patriots' are the ones who drive intentionally inefficient giant trucks. But if you even hint to a red-state redneck that his gas-guzzling truck has directly contributed to our dependence on middle east regimes, and indirectly contributed to terrorism and national security issues, they defensively refuse to make any connection, and instead insist on being blindly proud.
