QuakeCon............Has gone down hill.

This years event just seemed dull, not very many people and those that were there all looked like 14 year old wanna be goth/slacker kiddies. hell AMD didn't even run a booth this time, and the HardOCP workshop was way too long for me to have walked away with no knowledge of what was coming this year. It was more about cellphones and the xbox 360 and the ps3.

When -o- when will gamer companies quit sending out cheap shit hats and blow up aliens and XXL shirts for all to have and wear.

Now granted that half the crowd there was over weight but what about the fit people who might only fit in shirts like a medium....and NO I dont want to ever wear some stupid shit arm sweat band just cause it says creative or alienware.

I feel it has taken a turn for the worse, and probably will not ever go again. Just my 2 cents.

And a big fuck you queer asses to the group of fucktards that were wearing the stupid RTCW military helmets with the health and bullets and classes symbols on top....it looked ultra gay.

No it's not a rant...this is some BS that needs to be discussed or eventually we'll have whats known as ConsoleCon. Gay asses running around and hardware speeches that are irrelevent to the years gear and future.

And who knows maybe all you fatasses that attended will make the vendors hand out XXXXXL next year that they feel everyone will like.

QuakeCon was made to push the boundaries of the hardware and software community not what size and color shirts to hand out.

Fuck it it's complete shit in my eyes and was a fuckin waste of my time this morning.

It's become nothing but making a buck for them......

Well at least I have my memories of buying a commander keen diskette and wolfenstein diskette from carmack and the boys when they were all young selling them off of a cardtable set up in the middle of the night in downtown dallas at the first saturday sale. Back then is when gaming really meant something...not allot of PR crap.

Quite surprising really..,since TOVE is reach beyond king tuts wildest dreams, you'd think he'd just hire out quakecon for a day so he can walk around on his own. That's what I'd do if I was a multi-trillionaire. Also, I'd lay down a couple of hundred thou extra and get them to change the name to TOVEcon.

DooMer -- they're not half of the asshole that Fatal1ty is. he not only sells merch at events like this. He also consistently wins the tournies as well. It's truly disgusting.
