As I said, this might be the best movie I've seen so I suppose I don't have any other 10s. I thought Xiu Xiu - The Sent Down Girl was a 10, but it's been demoted.Plan B wrote:Name other movies you've seen you'd give a 10 out of 10.Anhedoniac wrote:The Woodsman - 10/10
I don't watch many movies, but for what it's worth, this might be the best movie I've seen.
Otherwise I will ignore your perfect score, rendering it meaningless.

No no. No need to force some sort of hierarchy.
'Xiu Xiu - The Sent Down Girl' can still achieve a splendid 10 out of 10, in your opinion.
But at least now I know what 'The Woodsman' is up against.
"Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance"
"This is the story of a deaf mute who is laid off, and his sister, who requires a kidney transplant. He has the wrong blood type to be able to donate one of his kidneys, so he arranges a trade with a group of organ dealers: one of his kidneys, and 10 million won, in return for their finding a kidney for his sister. They renege, but a legitimate kidney becomes available for transplant. Unfortunately, he no longer has the 10 million won required for the hospital to perform the operation. He and his girlfriend, now terrorists seeking to change how the poor are treated in Korea, kidnap his former boss's daughter. She is a very sweet girl, and they get along quite well with her. The sister kills herself when she finds out there is no money to pay for her transplant, and while he is burying her body near the stream they used to play in, the daughter accidentally drowns. The balance of the movie shows the revenge of the various wronged parties."

oh, and this movie gets a 0/10, because nobody should ever go through watching this. It's like Requiem for a Dream, if it could be more disturbing and depressing.feedback wrote:"Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance"
